Course Description
Ayurvedic Facial Massage is a relaxing massage that improves the texture and appearance of the skin, giving it a healthy glow. It releases tension in the face, softening fine lines and giving the appearance of a facelift. On this course, students will learn how to perform an Ayurvedic facial massage. They will learn the basic history of this massage and Ayurveda, including its five core elements. They will be able to identify an individual client's Dosha and Marma points, and understand their association with health and wellbeing. Students will also be able to carry out a client consultation, and learn the benefits, cautions, contraindications and aftercare for this therapy. This is a one-day professional, accredited and insurable practitioner's diploma course. Students will receive a course manual on the day of training, as well as a certificate upon successful completion of the course (subject to satisfying practical requirements), and access to a professional training video demonstrating the massage routine and key techniques. This course is suitable for all levels of experience and qualification, though some previous experience or understanding of massage is beneficial.
